When Stacey and I arrived back home from our 14 odd day trip....we were surprised to find that my car had acquired a new look....SPOTS.
Apparently leaving the car parked under a tree at home wasn't the greatest idea as the birds just let loose all over the car. I've never seen anything like it in my entire life. Sure, occaisionally you get a few odd ones over night when a bird decides to sleep in the tree above your car, but seriously this was unreal! It was embarrassing!
So first thing first Stacey and I headed to the local car wash and cleaned and sprayed until every last bit was washed off.
But wait, not only did the birds do a number on it...apparently a certain Spider (HUGE) decided that my car made a nice home for him as well. Thankfully all the spraying stirred him and he decided to seek a new home at the car wash. Seriously though, had that thing crawled out and across my windshield while i was driving...i seriously think i may have driven off the road or spent the next few days in the car afraid to get out in case it jumped on me. EEEEK!!! Just one of the daily joys one has to deal with while living in Australia....encounters with the Huntsman Spider.
