Australia has a lot of evergreen plants and trees, so you dont really get the full fall effect like you do back home in New Jersey. This weekend, i participated in a "fun run" with my friend Claudine and ran 5km's for Charity. It was held at a place called Hanging Rock which is North of Melbourne in an area called Mount Macedon. In this area there are a lot of big estates and therefore also a lot of very beautiful gardens.
After the race we took a drive down through the town and below is a picture of one of the streets. Just seeing the different colored leaves made me feel like I was at home again. This is an absolutely stunning area to visit and makes a wonderful day trip if you are in Melbourne!
